eRepair Excel 1.0

eRepair Excel enables you to repair any version of MS Excel files very easily. It is capable of making a thorough analysis of your damaged file and of fixing it preserving even its original format and formulas.

Unluckily, the program does not support batch repair, and it requires you to have MS Excel installed on your PC in order to work.

The program is designed to work as a wizard. On the first screen, you are asked to select your Excel file. This will be analyzed and its content displayed on the next screen - actually, you could also use eRepair Excel as an Excel file viewer, too. This process, however, may take a considerable time. In addition, it seems that some data types are not displayed correctly, like dates and times. As soon as you can see the full contents of your spreadsheet, you can press the "Start recovery" button to effectively repair the file. You will be shown a report on the process results on the last screen.

Finally, as an additional feature, the program allows you to send your Excel file as an attachment – using your default e-mail client – directly to the developer's e-mail address. This way they may help you repair your file in case you are not able to do so yourself for whatever reason. Besides, you can open the "Settings" window and set the program to save the recovered formulas as values or to keep them as such, and define also the maximum number of rows to be displayed on the file preview screen.

In conclusion, this is a very good tool to repair a damaged or corrupted MS Excel file, easy and fast.
